Clemi Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 (edited) Yeah, shipping is very expensive. And cans can only shipped on surface, not in the air. This is a bit cheaper. Can you give me the dimensions and the weight of one case? Than I will search online and maybe I find a good price for shipping. Edit: this is what I get in the last time. I'm sooo happy that I founded the Plasti-Kote Primer here in germany! Edited September 21, 2013 by Clemi

Nick Winter Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 (edited) Group 25 Contest today, got to see a few great members from here and meet a few I hadn't already met, Did bring just a thing or 2 home.......... Nick Edit: paint cans are only holding magazines from causing a landslide. Edited September 22, 2013 by Nick Winter
Clemi Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Which car is the first on the right magazine? It looks like a 50s mercury, can you give me details about it? I search since a long time for a kit of a 57 mercury but I don't find one.
Fabrux Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Hope that Fall Guy didn't set you back too much.

Nick Winter Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 nice haul chris I did finally get you on my very big list of good traders!! Tom Geiger Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Omni was so cheap I had to have it $5 Can't pass up a $5 Omni or other small car of the 1980s! I have my share of them, Cavaliers, Ford EXPs etc. I thought I had a $5 Beretta at a recent show, but upon opening the box, someone had lopped the roof off it. So I passed.

ChrisBcritter Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Just got back from the show in Wheaton. Finally got rid of some stuff and picked up the '50 Olds (now I can benefit from everyone else's experience!); also got a bag of leftover stuff from a '68 Chevy pickup (I have a '67 that was missing the outer wheels, and these were the same. Also have the rear bumper/taillight unit if anyone needs it). One thing I'm kicking myself for missing: a big bag of tires that had at least three good sets of '60s AMT Firestone whitewalls plus a ton more for $10. Should have grabbed them then, but I had to think about it... Looked all over for a cheap Revell stock '40 Ford Standard coupe for my '40 Merc convertible project but nobody had one, cheap or otherwise. Anyone else go there today?
Exotics_Builder Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 My haul from the DuPage Toy Show I’m thinning out my collection prior to moving, so I was out looking mainly for aftermarket parts. Here’s what I got:
tbill Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 forgive me for asking a stupid question, but what scale are the tire machine and wheel balancer? those look cool as heck!
James2 Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Picked these up at a swap/show Saturday. Just about 130 pairs of all kinds of skirts, some are labeled, others I have no ideal.
Harry P. Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Well now, there's an unusual collection!
plasticdna Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 I was able to get this from a true model pro. I'm just getting stated into the hobby and needs tools, but I'm having second thoughts about using this off the display.
Tom Geiger Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 I'd keep it as a wall hanging. It is very old, just look at the logos on the blade packages and the fact that the C-clamps are metal and not plastic like the ones they sell today. Any idea just how old it is?
