I picked up these US wheel Slot Mags for $50, they're in near perfect shape other than one front has been curbed a little bit. I'm not sure if I want to polish these ones or just clean them up and leave them dull. These are 14's whereas the other set are 15's, the fronts are 14x7's and the rears are 14x8's. All I have to do is mount these on the tires that are already on my Luv so no need to buy tires!

Kinda looking like I'm a Slot mag hoarder..

Nice score there Nick, those have to be my favorite style of stamped steel rims, don't care if they're GM, Chrysler, or AMC!

Joe, GM never used these they had a completely different design, bolt pattern and size , AMC and Chrysler did however, AMC had unique centers and trim rings, and Chrysler had 2 sizes, 2 different trim ring styles, and 2 styles of center caps.

Common confusion

Got this in the mail last week and today found the time to mock it up, with another one I cobbled together, from two other kits in the stash...(Mpc '79/'80 Dodge uteline "firefighter" and a mpc/ertl '78 Monster truck)

Those are real nice. Longbed dodges are getting hard to find at a good price...

One some, AMC had the same center cap as Chrysler. Just the emblem piece was different.

Those would be the domes, The Cap part was the same casting, but had AMC numbers cast into it, Then there was the Cone and Dome which were unique, The AMC's Cone's where shorter than the Chrysler cones (only used on '70-'74 C Body's).

Today I drove down to our go to tire guy and got the slots put on, now all it needs is a 2 inch cowl and paint! (if this violates any posting rules being I didn't physically get something but had something done feel free to remove my post)

Who makes those scooters?! They are cool!

They are by Aoshima. Basically a parts pack. About $12, you get a set of big and little "drag tires/wheels" and a scooter. Also a set of chrome mirrors. And a hand?

More interested in the Mercedes....with IED accessories!?! What's with that? Can you post a better pic? Never seen something like that.

It is 1/35th by diopark, I am doing a O scale train layout and thinking about doing 1/35 vehicles due to assortment and availability. Looks like a nice kit. A lot more parts than I was expecting and packed and presents well. Can be build as a police or pedestrian version. Comes with some military accessories.

That is cool Greg...little scooter. I got snow last night... <_<

Thanks Mark, we are expecting 6-10" this morning. Watching news now waiting for my sons school to close. If not he has to wake up in 20 minutes ?

@Greg- Very interesting kit. Just noticed on the box cover....the concrete chunks in the foreground with the holes in them. I used to work for a company that produces concrete products like that. Anyway, just thought it was a cool and "different" kit. The "IED" part really got my attention. Thanks for opening the box and showing.

I read the back of the envelope and I see the USPS feels all they have to do is get to you, the damaged mail "expeditiously". Then further on they kind of put the responsibility on you like it's all your fault.
