MsDano85gt Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 I got a big box from HLJ via Fed Ex a couple days ago...An eclectic group of vintage Nissans and Toyotas, a Honda, and some Italians. and some new wheel sets from Aoshima. where does one get all the japanese kits from in one sitting like that? awsome kits!
Rob Hall Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 (edited) where does one get all the japanese kits from in one sitting like that? awsome kits! Hobby Link Japan...they were all preordered/backordered months ago, and they ended up one by one over time in my Private Warehouse until I had them shipped... Edited February 21, 2014 by Rob Hall
Fabrux Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 the other one i am not sure but it had fender flares had teardrop windows and moon light windows glued to the roof has graveyard? looking murals decals on the side... That is the AMT Vantom/Phantom kit.
o-man Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Rob, HLJ had the Civic sedan in stock?! I thought it was discontinued years ago.
Rob Hall Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 (edited) Rob, HLJ had the Civic sedan in stock?! I thought it was discontinued years ago. Yeah, it was just reissued. It had been discontinued for a long time, seemed to be a hard to find kit for years. Edited February 21, 2014 by Rob Hall
chevyfever2009 Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Some great kits there Brad.. Thanks carl in the last 6 months my stash has tripled in size

JamesW Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Those wheels are nice, I have 2 sets. The only thing I don't like is the box art is misleading. They're not as deep as the pic.
Roadkill2525 Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Last of the Aoshima 1/6 wheels, Riverside R-104.
cobraman Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Got another Cobra that I ordered for my collection.
Ramfins59 Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Geeze Ray, do you have every Cobra model/diecast/toy ever made..??? How many do you have by the way?
cobraman Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 No Rich, not even close to having them all. I am amazed at how many there really are out there. if you count them all I have about 620 give or take. They are not all die-cast. I have them in plastic, resin, pewter, crystal, white ware, crayon and wood. I have 6 cabinets in the house, 3 in the garage plus peg board and hooks in the garage.
simonr Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Let me know, I use mostly Japanese products like Gunze, Gaianotes, Finisher's, etc... Simón P. Rivera Torres Sounds great...do you think I can contact the guy to order some of this stuff? Simón P. Rivera Torres Maybe I should start my own import business
dwayne4385 Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 ent to hobby lobby last night with the wife. After sitting in traffic for a hour and a half we got there and the model car selection was pathetic. I did pick up some paint and new blades. We then stopped at Wal-Mart to get driveway salt. Apparently Wal-Mart isn't selling there salt at the stores anymore. Its all being sold to the road commission.

Apparently Wal-Mart isn't selling there salt at the stores anymore. Its all being sold to the road commission. Our hobby lobby here is too...with all the reissued kits and new ones Id think they would be getting something in? Our hobby lobby came to town and had great selection and prices put everyone else out of the business...now there the only game in town and they majorly raised their prices here and hardly ever get anything in but military, planes, ships, and die-cast stuff...at least I can get paint there but makes me think there going to quit handling models or at least anything AMT,MPC,etc. almost all their automotive related kits are Revell and I rarely buy one.
dwayne4385 Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 There was 1 model I wanted there. A guy was holding onto it and never set it down. I ended up grabbing the camaro at walmart
10thumbs Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 I picked up another cold light bulb for my DIY Light Box. Finally I'm getting the light, right. Still trying to make them better though. Michael
cobraman Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 (edited) Got this on ebay. It will not be built as shown on the box. I have plans for it and I hope I can pull it off. Should be the next kit on the work bench. Edited February 22, 2014 by cobraman
atenzapower Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 At the show today This little car is not really mine style, but is funny and ugly, but i ve got some gracy ideas for it.maybe boso look. the bike and roof case are in it too, als o an little piece of fake grass
cobraman Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 What if Willys had made built the Cobra? There's an idea but no !
Ace-Garageguy Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 (edited) I got the head of my 19 year old Chinese copy of a Bridgeport milling machine safely detached from the rest of it with no damage to me or it. Now building a cradle for the head to securely mount in on my trailer for moving. This is the last large piece of equipment I have to disassemble to move to the new location. Whoopee. The end is in sight. Edited February 22, 2014 by Ace-Garageguy
The70judgeman Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 @Ray- Dare I say....Chevy LS powered? Like the one in a few Youtube videos.
