I posted this the other day, but it disappeared some how. Got in a wheel set for my Ring Brothers Javelin, which I will modify for correct backspacing. Also, who doesn't need a Whipple charged LS!

At yesterday's club meeting, a past participant showed up with a collection he acquired in the late 90's.  The way he got them was the original owner had taken them out of the boxes, cut the parts from the trees and put them in Zip-Loc bags.  Downside is that you have no idea if all there just hoping it is.  Upside, he was giving them away FREE.  Just wanted to clear out some space.  Anyway, I chose these three.  I'll eventually inventory them but may not build them.  Just thought these were the most interesting to me.

Today's mail,excited to get another for a decent price, Ebay seller listed as missing  only a wheel,when i opened the box the wheel was there,but a convertible body was in the box and no instructions.😬

Yesterday evening, I found one of my grail kits on EBay for a price way less than it normally is.

Shipping says it should be here in a week or two.

I'm stoked. Will post pics upon arrival.

Got my first promo in the most unexpected place ever, the Iowa State Fair. A pretty beat up 63 thunderbird, definitely some kids toy (adds character they tell me). The people had it listed for $40, no way is it worth that in this state. Told them they had it marked as a 65 and it was a 63, mentioned the broken a pillars, and the worn off chrome. All that got me this beaut for $20, not bad.
