mikemodeler Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 I got an email today from Kalmbach Publishing informing me I won a Tom Daniels kit in a drawing from when I renewed my magazine subscription. Not sure which one but I should have it sometime next week. This is the second time I won something from them. The last time was an airbrush ($199 at Hobby Lobby) for answering a survey. I better buy a lottery ticket, I am feeling lucky!
tuffone20 Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 I picked these kits over the last month or so!!!

niteowl7710 Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Its what I won on the facebook Revell contest WTH am I going to do with a rocket My suggestion involves a snowplow in low earth orbit...
David G. Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Didn't physically receive it today, but did win and pay for it. Very pleased with this 48-car junkyard - my maximum bid was significantly more than I got it for. http://www.ebay.com/...:EOIBSA:US:3160 Congrats! That's a nice haul at a great price. I've seen junkyards with half that content go got more than twice what you paid. I love model car junk yards and I envy you the fun you'll have sorting all that out. David G.

W-409 Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Something new again. Really like those Resin bodies ('56 Studebaker Commander & '69 Chrysler 300).
DanR Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 I got these last week at a local library/book sale. Not bad for $8.50. All are coffee table sized books and the Encyclopedia of American Cars book is easily 3-400 pages alone.
Furiousgeorge Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 I picked up the AMT 1932 Chrysler, has anyone done this one? Tips?
2000-cvpi Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 That's a great deal for those books. The bottom row is a good group of books.
The70judgeman Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 And now for something completely different. I've done some of those. The Corsair, P-51, and a couple P-47's...one for a former co-worker that gave it to a pilot friend of his as a gift. They're fun little side projects.
