I got two new kits today. Both are Studio 27. One is the Porsche RS-Spyder Essex Le Mans 2008 and the other is a Ferrari F430 GT "Scuderia Ecosse" #87 Le Mans 2007. I picked them up through M & S Hobbies. Would definitely recommend doing business with Mark. http://www.mshobbies.com/servlet/StoreFront

I will be doing a Workbench build on the Ferrari at some point.

Snagged a sealed Jo-Han Sox & Martin Plymouth Superbird on E-Bay today for a whopping $7.97 plus $5.95 shipping. Can't beat that at all. I also scored a Monogram '70 Plymouth Superbird for $13.87 including shipping.

Well, this week's acquisition is not a model, but he's new to the family and he loves hanging out in my model room with me.

He's only about 30 pounds right now, but the vet figures that he'll end up somewhere around 60 pounds when he's done growing.

Cute doggy... my puppy that I've had for a month now is 6 months old, 3 pounds of pure energy..

I keep the door to my hobby room closed, so she can't get at model parts, but she loves to go in my bedroom and steal my socks.

So far, she gets along well with the other dogs, though my 9yr old Aussie snaps at her--

I've been on a vintage Mopar kick lately...besides the '72 Duster w/ box I scored last week on ebay, I scored 3 Duster parts kits on ebay yesterday--2 '73s and another '72. With my parts box and the aftermarket, I hope to build a stock '72, stock '73, and '72 and '73 Pro Stock cars eventually out of these...

This one is a pure bred Pound Puppy!

He looks like some kind of Sheppard and Hound mix. He's the perfect play friend for for our Rottweiler puppy. Our 8 year old Pug, Otis, just doesn't want to be bothered much with either of them.

If I can go back to Friday, I got 8 kits at a yard sale, one for half price at Michael's with a coupon, and a '57 Dodge sweptside P/U given by a fellow model freak. I'd say that ain't bad for one weekend.

Gary,

Enjoy that sweptside pick-up, it would have ended up at the next modelswap. Somebody would have tried to offer me

some junk for it, so I'm glad you will do something cool with it. Giving you that one has spurred me to finally finish mine

too.

Have fun with it!!

I got my order from Scale Modeling by Chris, four M.A.D. pre-wired distributors.
