Did you or your son win any awards? Yeah we shoulda met up.My son was at work that day so I just bought the body for him. I didn't enter anything that day for a change, just went to shop and hang out. I went the following week to Birmingham and entered several kits but didn't win anything there. It's ok though, I had a good time just hanging out with friends, and making new friends. And made some cool purchases too !! Are you on facebook ? The link at the bottom of my post to my Fotki site has lots of pics from both shows. Maybe caught some of yours ??

hvymtl
Did all of that stuff come from Japan through HLJ? If so how long did it take? Not from HLJ but from Tokyo-Hobby off of Evilbay. standard air mail was about 2 weeks and it was right on time wise . Shipping was a lil pricey but these were what i was looking for mostly so i really did't mind. Part of the double secret stash so.... Michael Haha, the shipping that Tokyo Hobby offers is the slowest and cheapest shipping from Japan, for most of the kits its $12.80 and then $6.80 for kits after that Michael, I have nothing against TH,in fact I have bought kits from them in the past and always had great service from them, but HLJ is cheaper then TH, and even if something you want is listed as out of stock, you can still order it, they will get the kit for you .
