I noticed. Mine might keep a few more of the stock Mack parts, but even stripped down of the uneeded truck stuff it's still pretty big!

Added some roughly applied paint - "probably from a left-over can of house paint or something".

I hope that leftover house paint wasn't latex- it wouldn't last five minutes on a vehicle.

I don't think latex paint was invented by then. It would be good old enamel.

I got everything in primer today ! Going to start painting later all with a brush, I think the only spray will be some dullcote.

Well I am in finally. I was going through an old box and found some of my old pressed steal toys parts and found some wheels.. I am going to try to use this pair. there old solid rubber ( the one has a very egged out hub though but I think I can fix it ) and when I am feeling a little better I will try to get to the kid's old toy box and see what I can get there. I still undecided on the engine.. because the oldest engine I have is flat head V8.. heh I may do the mad scientist and coble up a something.

I will probly scratch build the frame and what not.

I only had a flat head V8 too. So that is what I used.
