Rex, I completely lost track about how long the CMA proposed kit has been up on their site.

So, in answer to your question , I do not know anything more than you do. Some of the other posts following on to yours about CMA  and Marshall Buck made interesting reading though.

I can remember having the old IMC kit way back when. Getting the kit back into the box was like trying to solve the Rubik' s cube puzzle!

As far as the MkIV goes, the IMC kit more accurately represents one prepared by Hollmann and Moody.  Main differences are the plexiglass cover over the two four-barrels and the side windows in the cockpit.  H&M cars featured access windows that were hinged; Shelby cars had access windows that slid forward. The IMC kit needs a great deal of work in the engine bay.  It would be best to kit-bash the IMC and MPC to come up with an accurate engine bay.
