rmvw guy Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 With the Blizzard of 2012 dying down, was wondering if anyone else took pictures of their models in the snow? Here's mine;It makes me wish I had the late issue of the Chevy snow plow. Here's a picture of my Dad's VW in our driveway in 1964.
Art Anderson Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Snow, and Good are mutually exclusive, considering that snow is a dirty 4-letter word! Art
lanesteele240 Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 the best snow pic is a no snow pick beautiful beautiful beautiful not one flake
Guest G Holding Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Ron said models in the snow........Here's one......
rmvw guy Posted December 26, 2012 Author Posted December 26, 2012 Yeah, you guys are right, guess I got a little bored today. Really the snow doesn't bother me so bad since I'm retired and don't have to go out in it anymore. Looking out the window, I couldn't resist making this post.
Foxer Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 (edited) We're waiting for our first good snowfall tonight . 12" +/- . In the meantime, this is my TR4A in 1969 ... I dug it out and drove it .. with the chains on! Edited December 26, 2012 by Foxer
rmvw guy Posted December 26, 2012 Author Posted December 26, 2012 I can't argue with that Greg. I love it!
rmvw guy Posted December 26, 2012 Author Posted December 26, 2012 I like that too Mike. Pictures from Hawaii would be welcome also!!! Thanks for commenting.
Casey Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 No models in this one, but we have snow, and hopefully on Friday we'll get more.
The70judgeman Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 No models in this one, but we have snow, and hopefully on Friday we'll get more. NO NO NO...or at least keep it up by you in the Falls!
Tom Geiger Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 (edited) I have successfully dodged the snow for now. I was at my NJ shore area house and we had no snow there. Went to North Jersey for Christmas and just saw a little bit here and there on lawns. Came back to PA today and saw a bit on our cars. It's 34 degrees outside and raining. Nasty night, not going out at all! But here's a little sequence I did for a message board years ago.... VALIANT SNOW CAM Edited December 27, 2012 by Tom Geiger
rmvw guy Posted December 27, 2012 Author Posted December 27, 2012 "No models in this one, but we have snow, and hopefully on Friday we'll get more." Casey, I know people in Wisconsin are crazy about snow, I prefer the summers there, the lakes feel a lot friendlier when the're not frozen over. "VALIANT SNOW CAM" That's a cool idea Tom, wish I would have thought of that!
rel14 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Sorry, best i could do, is white sand and bikinis,, but there is young ones on here, so,, Sorry Bad weather today,, had to turn the AC on,,
diymirage Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 i bought my 2 (almost 3) year old a snow shovel the other day when i showed it to the wifey she asked if it was to keep in the trunk off the car (its about that size) i told her "shoot, no, its for the boy, this year he's gonna earn his keep!" funny thing is, as much as i hate snow im looking forward for it for my boy to enjoy he tried making a snow angel in 1/8th inch of snow the other day...not quite deep enough
Rob McKee Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 We don't have any snow here Ron but I like the shots you took. If we can some snow here I am going to give that a try.
Agent G Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 There is a reason I moved to the Mojave Desert. G
JamesW Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 I COULD have gotten a pic, but I was too bust trying to drive in it all night. LOL We got 7 inches in the last 10 hours. Doesn't seem like much, but when you gotta drive in it NON STOP it's ridiculous.
Joe Handley Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 No snow here. Thank God! Here here! I'm driving the Jeep right now, but have only needed the scrapper enough to clear it's winshield........once! I've not even worn any kind of jacket much so far..............
Harry P. Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Here here! I'm driving the Jeep right now, but have only needed the scrapper enough to clear it's winshield........once! I've not even worn any kind of jacket much so far.............. But you know it's only a matter of time before we get slammed. We've been lucky so far, but that luck isn't going to last much longer.
pandamonium2112 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Here ya go. It's really an R/C but i customized it like a model.
W-409 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Well, no Models, but snow YES. Actually these are from 2011, but it looks the same now...
Joe Handley Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 But you know it's only a matter of time before we get slammed. We've been lucky so far, but that luck isn't going to last much longer. Yup, that's some of why I'm driving my Jeep right now and why I kept it when the 200 was bought.
rmvw guy Posted December 27, 2012 Author Posted December 27, 2012 Here ya go. It's really an R/C but i customized it like a model. You fooled me with this one, I thought it was real, That's the first RC snowmobile I've ever seen. Cool!
