Ron35369 Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Here's one I built a couple years ago. Revell 56 Chevy Nomad, painted Magenta Pearl over a silver base & bright white two tone. Wheels & tires are from the 66 Chevelle wagon kit.
Ron35369 Posted January 6, 2013 Author Posted January 6, 2013 Thanks for the nice comments guys! I appreciate it. this was actually the first build that I used House Of Kolor paints on & after I did I was hooked!
wagoneer Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Oh what a beautiful colour! The combination looks good, and what a lot of foil work too, nicely done. Those wheels work nicely too. Wag
crazyrichard Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 (edited) really nice , the colors work great Edited January 6, 2013 by crazyrichard
James2 Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Impressive, great clean and shiny build. Good BMF work also.
charlie8575 Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Not exactly my style, but I must say, I do like the color combination. Very nicely done. Charlie Larkin
rustybill1960 Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 POP YOUR EYES OUT AND MAKE THEM BLEED!!! WOW!! Ron that is one sharply sweet '56 Nomad!! Those colors are "HOT!" Thank You for sharing Later Russ
the weapon x Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 absolutelly great work bro. im trying my hardest to get my paint jobs to come out like that!!!! but great work
Ron35369 Posted January 10, 2013 Author Posted January 10, 2013 Keep at it Jamie. It takes practice. You gotta have high quality material, good weather conditions, a clean environment & clean model parts. Definitely invest in a $1 tack rag if you don't have one yet. They can really make a difference by picking up dust particles that you might not even see.
bowtieboss Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Really nice job.Was that kit a good fit as I really would like to get the nomad question AMT or Revell ?
geetee66 Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Man, that's a hot ride. That gloss is a mile deep and the BMF is chrome-a-delic! Nice touches onder the hood, too. I love it.
Dr. Cranky Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Beautiful work on the foiling. Wonderful model.
