horsepower Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 All that's needed now is to send it to me, I can see you've already lost interest.
sbk Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 As others said, great looking color. What brand & color name?
slammedi'am Posted January 9, 2013 Author Posted January 9, 2013 Paint is from Duplicolor....Its a factory GM color and cant remember the exact name of it but I think it was called cordova brown metallic...I did it over a black base coat on this one.. Thanks everyone...Been working on the interior the most right now
W-409 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Very nice color, and fantastic paint job! I bet this will be great quality build once finished, since you do excellent work with every build. But those wheels just don't fit with this body at all, it needs 15" wheels with narrow white wall tires. Oh well, actually I think every single car can't have any bigger wheels than 15" (Including new Camaro, Challenger etc.), so...... .
slammedi'am Posted January 9, 2013 Author Posted January 9, 2013 Lol alot of people isnt into the big wheels look and had thought about the whitewalls and chrome steelies but gonna use those for another project I got going on
ItsThePaint! Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Those wheels look great on there, especially with that great paint. I don't get the hang-up with the big wheels, traditional or not, that's not what hot rods and customs are all about. It's PERSONAL expression. As a side note, cars with 15 inch wheels ride nice and cushy, but handle like an elephant on stilts. Again, nice job on your build.
slammedi'am Posted January 11, 2013 Author Posted January 11, 2013 Thanks everyone....Got it polished out the other night and started on the BMF...
Chris White Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 I used to think that this was a "But Ugly" car, now I want to build one for myself.
slammedi'am Posted January 13, 2013 Author Posted January 13, 2013 Thanks everyone...Almost got the BMF done...Still gotta do the 2 rear fenders at the bottoms..
Modlbldr Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 I love the color and the wheels. Goes nicely together. Great work on rhe BMF. Later-
freakshow12 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 looks good! I have used that cordova brown on a fairlane I have in progress. what wheels are those in the last pic?
slammedi'am Posted January 13, 2013 Author Posted January 13, 2013 Those wheels are from a VW bus kit my son had from Miasto I think...They was extras and I just used Pegasus tires on them
slammedi'am Posted January 17, 2013 Author Posted January 17, 2013 Pretty much got the door panels done...Started on the seats and should have then done by the end of the week..
