Erik Smith Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 That is a great model. The wheels and tires add a lot to the overall look. Excellent work all the way around.

IMSANUT Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 Superb recreation of the Cobra's first win. I have much of what is needed for this build as well. I was unaware of the availability of the brake scoops though. Must get those as well as the wheels. What brand and shade of red did you use?
The Styrene Chemist Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 That's one handsome looking cobra. nice build
mr moto Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 (edited) That's an excellent build and a very interesting bit of history. Who would guess that the first race winning Cobra was painted red? What was Shelby thinking? Edited January 25, 2013 by mr moto
torinobradley Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 (edited) Looks awesome! Love the Spaulding! The Spaulding Flamethrower was also in the AMT parts pack motors (I think the hemi). I have the decals for this one but need to finish the Coventry Executor first... Very nice build. Love the detail! Did you just get the parts individually from HRM or did you get the trans-kit for the AMT? Edited January 25, 2013 by torinobradley
