Hi

The forum went down shortly after my posting of this model so I apologize to those that have already seen it. I don't even know how many of you if any viewed it.

I took an AMT '55 Cameo and slapped a '57 Cameo bed on it. The front clip and engine are from the AMT '67 Impala and the engine features a scrtachbuilt intake and the pulley system from a C5 corvette. The engine bay is smoothed. Rolling stock is from a Maisto diecast Chevy SSR. The dash, console and seats are from the same C5 Corvette kit and I designed and scratchbuilt my own door panels. The exhaust outlets are No. 8 Rivnuts I picked up at a hardware store. The custom exhaust is made by heating/bending styrene rod. I made my own 4 bar linkage for the hood and the color is HOK Persimmon Pearl over Italian Red.

Thanks for looking (again)

It won't be long before saying this word will make me look like the ultimate anachronism, so, while I still can...Duuuuude!

Rod-

With a build like that you can keep posting it....and I'll keep looking.

Many cool ideas on your truck that I am logging away in my pea brain for future use. Thanks for (re)posting.
