Kaleb Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Ok, so I use purple power, and this entire time it has been liquid. Well I no longer have a purple pond. It's more of a pink blob. Has anyone had anything like to happen?
TooOld Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 You've been SLIMED ! ! Seriously , I've never seen it before . Must be some kind of chemical reaction , maybe the paint ?
Kaleb Posted February 28, 2013 Author Posted February 28, 2013 I have no idea lol, when I pulled the last car out it was liquid. Could be the paint after setting so long.
pa3de8 Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 I don't know but that sure is a purrty color, ...lol. All kidding aside, I've only used that stuff once and that didn't happen.
dustym Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 I have had that happen, I think once the water itself has evaporated thats what you get. I dont actually know for sure.

That's probably what happened . If you've been using it for a few days it has evaporated . I lived in Phoenix for awhile and it can happen !
Kaleb Posted February 28, 2013 Author Posted February 28, 2013 I'm not sure, because its the same height as when it was fresh. I have other stuff months at a time and this never happend. All under the same conditions.
kalbert Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 That is interesting... I've not seen that happen either. Most importantly though... Is it still working? Did it strip the paint and leave the plastic?
2000-cvpi Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 I put a Crown Vic taxi into my own purple pond a week ago. I now have the same thing and the box was sealed. It didn't even remove the paint or chrome.

dragcarz Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 can you show us a pic of the container to see if its the same stuff I use?
sjordan2 Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 (edited) It's in the first post I think he means the Purple Power container with the label. Edited February 28, 2013 by sjordan2
Kaleb Posted February 28, 2013 Author Posted February 28, 2013 Ah, welli throw those away once I dump it in the shoe box
Tom Geiger Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 (edited) I once had Wesleys left in an open container gel up like that over time. But yours went much quicker in the dry air. I'd just add water to it until it becomes liquid again Edited February 28, 2013 by Tom Geiger
Danno Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Joshua, Was it covered, or did you leave it open? If not covered, it will evaporate quickly. As it evaporates/dehydrates it gels.
slusher Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 I have had that happen if you leave it open to long...
Kaleb Posted March 1, 2013 Author Posted March 1, 2013 Covered as always. Like I said before I have had other stuff for months under the same conditions.
