I finally finished this one today. This is a Hendrix Resin using an AMT 56 Ford as a donor kit.. I painted it Testors Black Laquer and Tamiya 50's pink with Wet Look Clear. Also Tamiya blue tint on the windows. Wheels are from Linbergh's 53 Ford Pace car. The resin clean up was a B****. on this one. This one fits in my wagon collection perfectly.

What better way to say 1950's than Pink and Black.

Ok, maybe it's an optical illusion, but to me, in that 3/4 rear view the body looks way too narrow. Am I seeing things? Do the donor kit's bumpers, chassis, etc. fit without mods?

Harry,

Everything from the donor kit fit perfectly, but the drivers side front lower fender has a slight warp that wouldn't straighten out. Otherwise you would think AMT built a Parklane.

Hmmm... must just be the angle. Anyway, nice job! Definitely a very '50s vibe with that color scheme. B)

Looks great! Love the color combo. I noticed the warp on the lower front side.........maybe the caster used a modified promo wagon body for the master. Most of them warped there too. Still looks great though.

I don't know if the rose or whatever Ford called pink was a Park Lane color, but that still looks great. As I've said before, in the 1950s, almost anything was possible, and re-sprays weren't expensive.

Very nice job.
