gluebomb Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 I looked at it and said wow. Then I saw who built it and said to myself "Go Figure". Great build!!!
edward smith Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 You make any model look outstanding Cruz, this paintjob is just awesome. I am practicing my panel line work after reading the article you wrote on the mag, this model proves that there is no better system than yours!
doggie427 Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Outstanding work as always Marcos ! The paint, panel lines, killer BMF, and clean clean clean build all add up to an amazing contemporary street rod. Well done and thanks for the eye-candy !
gwolf Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Wow...it looks like the model on the front of the boxes. Amazing work, man!
Gramps2u Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 One deep reflection in that paint! more then 10 feet... Nice
Burnout Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Beautiful paint job Cruz! I remember reading an article of yours where you used flat enamel topped with Testors clear from a can. Did you use the same on this model or something else? Thanks in advance, KB
CrazyGirl Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 (edited) oh my , that's the bee's knees , that is so pretty , and that BMF , are you sure that's not chrome plate , cause that sure is the best BMF job I have seen , especially on the hood Edited April 24, 2013 by CrazyGirl
moparfarmer Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 I don't know what you drink or eat but I know two people from Peurto Rico(sp) and both build spectacular models. Don't know what to say...OH YEA!!!!!
peter31a Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Extremely clean build as always Marcos. Beautiful model.
CrazyGirl Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 I just noticed the black window gaskets ,totally outstanding work there
cruz Posted April 24, 2013 Author Posted April 24, 2013 Thanks guys. The base coat is Testor's flat yellow from the small enamel bottles with Testor's wet look clear. The BMF looks smooth and shiny for 2 main reasons, I make sure the finish is smooth on the paint even around the window moldings and I use wax on the BMF after application.....
slusher Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Beautiful build Marcos, great color and finish. Excellent work...
outlaw035 Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 good look'n streetrod....like the graphic's alot...
John E. Bowers Jr. Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 I got the June issue today and read the review first thing. Great job on this kit, you've made an outstanding example! (As usual...!)
