slusher Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Here is my 66 ford fairlane. Painted with Testors red spray can enamel. Its box stock. All comments welcome..
Guest Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Nice looking little Fairlane Carl! I never did have any luck with Testors red paint when I was younger. It always came out with something wrong with it. I may have to give it another try now that I know how to paint a little better.
freakshow12 Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Very nice in red! All I would change is to paint inner fenders black
'70 Grande Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Wow, Carl, this is an awesome build! Your paintwork is outstanding! One of my favorite subjects too, mid-1960's Ford!
Quick GMC Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 I think roughing up the tires on the tread a little bit would make a huge difference. Shiny tires always take away from the realism for me. It is a very clean build though.
TooOld Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Great looking Fairlane ! Love the paint , and the engine , and the wheels , and . . .
lazlow Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 That is soo bad, i love it, miles of shine, and sweet dule carb monster hidden away under that cool scoop, I do not know my fords that well, was that a scoop you could get back then or is that your original Laz
Chris White Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Carl, you rocked another one. The paint is outstanding, and that classic look with the wheels is cool
Sixties Sam Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Great looking Fairlane! Good color choice, and really well done. Good work! Sam
brett Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Fantastic job , as usual Carl. I'd sure hate to come up against you in a box stock build off, your finishes always look great
W-Machine Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Killer! I love dog dish hubcaps on muscle cars. The red really pops, too.
