crazyjim Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 The Dodge is painted with Duplicolor dark cherry. I used Rustoleum texture paint to get the "undercoated" look.
Foxer Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Very nice! Good choice on the metal pins for the door hinges ..
crazyjim Posted July 15, 2013 Author Posted July 15, 2013 Thanks, fellas. The original hinges were terrible so I drilled them out and used straight pins. The wheels are Pegasus Diablo.
crazyjim Posted July 15, 2013 Author Posted July 15, 2013 Thanks, Jose. I used to work with a guy who had one as his daily driver. It was pretty slick.
Harry P. Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 I like it! Smooth and clean, the wheels work, and I love the red/tan color combo. But you really need to shorten those hinge pins... they look pretty weird hanging way down like that.
hvymtl Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Very nice love the color combo also and the wheels make it with the stance. MIchael
realgone58 Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Pretty wild, now you've got a fairly stock version, plus the wild and "crazy" limo version!
crazyjim Posted July 15, 2013 Author Posted July 15, 2013 Thanks guys. Yeah, Harry - the pins need to be cut down. They didn't look that bad before I took the pics.
fatkidd Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Thanks guys. Yeah, Harry - the pins need to be cut down. They didn't look that bad before I took the pics. Did they magically grow while taking the pictures? haha All kidding aside, this one turned out quite nicely
PappyD340 Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Very NICE Dodge, love those wheels, would have been even better if you had shoehorned a Hemi in there!! great job anyway!!
Davewilly Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Nice D100 This kit builds into a really nice model. I have done 2 and have 2 more in the stash.
crazyjim Posted July 17, 2013 Author Posted July 17, 2013 Thanks fellas. Can't see the engine so I saw no reason to waste a hemi. Yo Fatkidd - the hinges grew after I took them to taco Smell. LOL.
