I finished this car up a bit ago. I think I should have done one more round with the putty and sanding of the sheet plastic I used to fill the interior cover. Anyway, I shortened and Revell funny car chassis and moved the front wheels back a bit. Other than that it was built pretty much stock. Body was painted with "Green Go " and then the decals were added and a couple coats of clear were applied. Looks ok I guess but I will let you folks be the judge. Comment welcome be they good or bad. I can take it. Thanks for looking.

I really like this car. Color and details look really slick. Is this based on a real car?

Drew

This is not based on any car that I am aware of. Who would be crazy enough to build a real car like this ? : )

Honestly ? I really like it a lot ! :D

I remember seeing cars like this years ago but maybe not a '57 Ford .

The color is great and it sits just right , very nice .

That turned out very good! Personally I've never liked these "Super Gas Roadsters" or what are they called, but as Scale Models, these are really interesting. Nice work with the conversion, great paint and detail. Good work.
