Hi guys,

here's my latest, a 71 Duster Super Stock, not a "stock" built for once but still on my 70ies way of build for this year. This project start as a "parts box" project : I've used a Duster body with an older MPC chassis ( I've built a detailed 75 Dart years ago...), engine is from a 68 Charger Revell kit, with MPC large oil pan and trans. Cragar wheels are from the 70 Torino GT kit, as the main side decals. Tires are the latest AMT product, I've painted the bumpers to replicate the poly ones, interior had lost its rear bench, but got some racing equipment. Colors are 100% Mopar stuff. Hope you'll like it

Very cool build! Dusters are something a bit rarely seen, but very cool. Really nice detailing, and clean paint work. B) It sure is a nice build, but a couple of things, it is Not a Super Stock car.

You could not have a Super Stock Duster with a Hemi in it. NHRA has no Classifications for HemiDusters. Also you have G/SA markings on the windows, which means G/Stock Automatic and that is inside Stock Eliminator, not Super Stock. Also that Hood Scoop wouldn't be allowed in Super Stock. It it was a GT Class car in Super Stock, then yes but otherwise not.

It is a nice build, but not a Super Stocker. Maybe my eye gets too much into that classification, but that's what real Stock Eliminator Racer's eye does. Very nice build anyway!
