tiking Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 This is my worst build yet. The only reason I have not dismantled it yet, is I will probably end up putting it into a bigger diorama. So here it is:
David G. Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Your weathering and detail is excellent, I think it looks great. David G.
BigBad Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Why is it so bad? Because the paint is chipping? LOL!
flatbedfrankie Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 This model looks fabulous! Whats supposed to be wrong with it? Its beautifully weathered! I like it!
Ridgeback Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Like others, I really cannot see whats wrong with it, it looks superb. just the right amount of 'use' without going overboard. I'd be proud to say I built that
Chuck Most Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Are you joking? That's one of the coolest truck models I've seen in a long time.
raildogg Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 If you call this a bad build then ,I'm never going to build another truck in my life !!!!!
tiking Posted November 16, 2013 Author Posted November 16, 2013 Thanks guys for the support. You knoiw what they say. We are our worst critic. Perfection has always been a goal. I have dismantled many models, believe me; not easy when we all want the perfect model.
austinpro14 Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 If this Is your worst i wonder how your best Is lol
tiking Posted December 27, 2013 Author Posted December 27, 2013 If this Is your worst i wonder how your best Is lol Hahaha!!! Good one.
Apriliadan Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Truck would look great in any diorama, it's perfect
Danno Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Looks good to me. Wonder what's wrong with me?
Plastheniker Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Charles, this definitly one of the best weatherings I have ever seen. Most European modelers overdo weathering completely, but your subtle technique makes your model look exactly as a European workhorse looks in reality. The matching colour of the base makes it even more convincing. Really excellent!

Tony-442 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Like everyone has said... Great build! Weather is spot on, paint chipping looks real and very hard to make it look right. It's perfect. well done.
1959scudetto Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 If this Is your worst i wonder how your best Is lolThe same thing that I thought to myself:subtle weathering (rust, paint chipping, dirt and grime)looks like the real thing!
tiking Posted January 26, 2014 Author Posted January 26, 2014 Thanks everyone for the uplifting words. Appreciate the support.
