69NovaYenko
While Chevy`s are my 1st love, American Motors muscle cars are a close 2nd. I`ve been the proud owner of two 1:1 Javelins and one AMX`s in my youth. Wish I had held on to them.

Ron Hamilton
Ron where did you get the resin "Big Bad" car? I bought it from Raoul Columbe aka "Sport Suburban", who posts here on the board. It's not a bad piece of resin, but it will have to be "worked" a little for fit, and it has a few minor pinholes to contend with. I got a tail lamp from the Modelhaus. I am going to use my '68 promo as a gage for gaps, and fitments. The '69 Javelin is a rare bird, and it will look great when I am done with it, and yes, I am going to "clean up" this '68, with re-chromed bumpers, a new paint job, a vinyl roof, and the SST stripes. I may even do a color change, as this green is not doing it for me.

Misha
Have always been a fan of AMC, especially late 60s & early 70s. The company has always had an underdog rep, so it was great to see successes such as the Trans Am Javelins, drag AMX, the Machine, and that little compact the SC/Rambler! Built this one quite a few years ago, using the kit decals! Wired and plumbed, weathered chassis, modified rear tailgate, detailed trunk with spare and jack (from the 65 Galaxie. lordairgtar
Ah Yes! The mighty 304, a true 5 liter. Ford's 302 was only 4.9 liters, but that would never look good on a fender, so 5.0 it was.
