JPolli Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Just finished. Body was taken from a stock AMT Corvair kit. It was lengthened in the front and put over a modified Polar Lights F/C chassis and tin. Big Block Chevy engine and accessories were taken from my parts box. Paint is House of Kolor Molly Orange and White. Decals are from PoleCat and Slixx Seaton Super Shaker Nova. Thank you for looking
doggie427 Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Beautiful ! Love the body work, paint and decals. Very realistic finish on the wheels. Great build.
High octane Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 That 'Vair came out lookin' really good. Mine looked good back-in-the-day, but not that good.

W-409 Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Beautiful Funny Car Corvair. That paint and detail looks very good to me, and nice photos also. It could very well be Real Deal in those pics. Very nice.

Tedly Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Beautiful job Jim, maybe you should show up at the next meeting and bring it along!
6bblbird Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Great job on one of my favorite 1:1 funny cars! One of the things that you did to capture the realism was to remove all chrome from the model. Looks terrific. WF
