Tumbe Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 I build this from a Monogram kit several years ago. Engine is a flathead from AMT 1950 Ford kit. Blower is from my parts box. Tires are AMT and Johan. Wheels are AMT. I used Humbrol Enamel paints and MIG pigments.
mikemopar70 Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Nice little rat rod!! I like the weathering!!
Dr. Cranky Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Perfect and beautiful in its weathered state. Excellent job.
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Oh yes !!! A beautiful example of what can be done with an often overlooked and criticized kit. Very very nice, entirely believable.
TooOld Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 That is really nice ! Great weathering and engine detailing . You even need air in the tires !
Shardik Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Nice build. Very realistic weathering. This car looks like it would have a lot of interesting stories to tell, if it could talk.
rv1963 Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 I love a model car with character and this has a lot of it, well done.
Nacho Z Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Very nice job on the weathering. Totally believable and not over done. Looks great!
