DonW Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 My daughter got this one, top of the line convertible, over a year ago and loves it. Nothing has gone wrong with it at all. The dealers are few and far between. None in the area of NJ where she lives, so she came to PA and there's a dealer here in Downingtown that has a ton of them. There were other people from a distance at the dealer that day too. So they are still scarce to see on the road in NJ area she lives in so the car attracts a lot of attention. It runs well, has decent pickup (with an automatic) and maneuvers well, feels good on the road. I fit well in the drivers seat and I get my suits from the Ziggy collection! That's not a convertible, that's just got a sunroof. I'me sure they're marvellous. Same old same old.
cobraman Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Your model is looking very nice. I still can't make up my mind about the real car yet.
Tom Geiger Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 That's not a convertible, that's just got a sunroof. I'me sure they're marvellous. Same old same old. No this is the Cabriolet with the full Lois Lane style convertible top. It has several positions, and she has it in full sunroof with the back window still in place. Next stop is full down.
slusher Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Very nice paint finish and color. Your doing some very nice work...
charlie8575 Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Coming along very nicely so far. Charlie Larkin
robertw Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 You've picked a very nice colour for this build. These pastels are becoming very popular on 1 to1 cars in the last couple of years and on a small car like this it looks particularly good in these colours. It took me awhile to get one of these kits so I'll be looking forward to seeing how yours turns out and whether you've had any build problems before I put mine on the work bench. I've built a number of the Fujimi Ferrari kits and found each one to be a very satisfying build but sure wish they were easier to find and cheaper.

I may not like the 1:1 but the model is being built beautifully!
Erik Smith Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Very nice looking model so far. I reall like the 1:1 Fiats - yes, retro, but it was a cool design, and the modern take on the original 500s is cool in it's own way (cute, at the least). They are quite a bit larger than the original too, but seating is still a little limited. I looked at one when we bought an economy car last year, but only four seats! I like the color choice too...
Davewilly Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Looking great so far. I want to pick up one of these kits along with an original version and do the now and then thing.

Brizio Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Nice!!! Love the color! Unfortunately there is no engine, but looks a good kit.
