mustang1989 Posted November 27, 2013 Author Posted November 27, 2013 It'd be kinda fun to do some parts-swapping among those. Sort of a recombinant-DNA kitbash. Ok ok we are going from kit bashing Jedi starfighters to kit bashing living beings?? LOL LOL
mustang1989 Posted November 27, 2013 Author Posted November 27, 2013 I also build models of characters from anime and games, so I've got shelves full of anime girls. Quite a few aren't safe for work. Those count? That would count alright! Revell/Monogram Tyranosaurus Rex an RaptorsFrom Jurrasic Park serie. About as weird as I wanna get off subject. I've actually seen these built in a Group build that I was in.
george 53 Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Harry, those were old Renwal "Invisible Animals"series. I remember those.
george 53 Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Joe, Still haven't messed with them! Bought them quite a few years ago. Built the Humvees, but not these.
mustang1989 Posted November 27, 2013 Author Posted November 27, 2013 Harry, those were old Renwal "Invisible Animals"series. I remember those. I cant remember seeing those but I'm sure to look em up. That sounds interesting.
Harry P. Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 It'd be kinda fun to do some parts-swapping among those. Sort of a recombinant-DNA kitbash. Way different scales. But hey, that wouldn't stop you if you really wanted to cross a frog with a cow!

Harry P. Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Here's one of them... Renwal Visible Dog. These "visible" kits were issued under various names... Renwal (originally), Palmer, and more. Check ebay under Toys and Hobbies for "visible frog" or "visible cow," etc.
mustang1989 Posted November 27, 2013 Author Posted November 27, 2013 You know this thread is taking off pretty well. I started this on another forum and didn't get half of the participation and certainly didn't come up with as different of stuff as I've seen here! Everything from crazy dragsters to amoebas and now animal/ human models! Cool stuff guys and keep em coming!!

Ace-Garageguy Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Love the box art. The bright, chirpy female looks like she's helping the...slow...male to sound out ...D...O...G....Obviously some subliminal feminist indoctrination.

She's just telling him where to stick it...
Foxer Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 My wife is an RN and Medical Chair at a school. so I'm staying on topic ...
sjordan2 Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 It came with a jar of liquid glue to brush on, 3 shades of fuzzy fur and a squeeze tube to blow on the fur.
ToyLvr Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 It'd be kinda fun to do some parts-swapping among those. Sort of a recombinant-DNA kitbash. I'd be glad to offer the Visible Woman kit up for trade if you need some kitbashing parts. ;-)
RancheroSteve Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 There are (were?) also visible frog, cow and dog kits. Also a pregnant visible woman! I built the visible man and visible frog as a kid. I've got the Visible Woman kit. I was getting ready to name that as my weirdest kit when I saw your post.
Zarana-X Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 I had the visible woman kit years ago. I got it from Goodwill cheap, and it was missing some bones. I made a disembowled zombie out of it, but I couldn't do much with the pose since the body is clear plastic. Even though it looked good, it looked bad because of the static pose.
Ace-Garageguy Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 I'd be glad to offer the Visible Woman kit up for trade if you need some kitbashing parts. ;-) Hmmmm....between that and Skip's Perry the Squirrel....hmmmmm....a fuzzy woman with a rodent head and tail? And frog legs?? No, wait. I dated her, and it wasn't that great a combination.

Deano Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Oooh! Perry the Squirrel is one of my Grail Kits!
sjordan2 Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Oooh! Perry the Squirrel is one of my Grail Kits!Perri the squirrel is one of Disney's forgotten legends, but I have it on DVD. It was half a typical Disney "True-life Adventure" and half a special-effects fantasy way before its time. Quite a good show.
ToyLvr Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Did her legs taste like chicken? Like I said before, some weird people on this forum..... :-0
mustang1989 Posted November 27, 2013 Author Posted November 27, 2013 Like I said before, some weird people on this forum..... :-0 LOL LOL!!! That invisible Vixen is a good one too! Wow were really bustin out the rare stuff too!!
Ace-Garageguy Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 That visible Vixen is a good one too! I understand the kit also has 300 pairs of optional shoes, and a little shovel to dig for gold. Very realistic.
