Hey Gang !

Thank you for the comments , I greatly appreciate them . This is the Revell kit , shot with Testors British Racing Green metallic , no clear , just a light polishing to bring up the shine . Decals are a combination of those from the kit and various Slixx sponsors .

The interior is done up in a two tone green which compliments the exterior quite well . As a build , the kit is a dream when it comes to putting it all together . Prep work , on the otherhand , was a long tedious process ! Every single part had to be sanded due to light mold lines and pin marks .

As bad as the prep work was ? The chrome was a nightmare ! I ended up stripping all of it and reshooting it with Alclad . I lightly weathered the frame and motor with pastel chalks to give it a used look . I built this to compete in the Competiton Box Stock category at the shows .

As I stated , the kit practically builds itself and is a beautiful car when completed . With that said , I feel that a new release such as this should not require the extensive prep work or chrome issues that exist . This is my second buildup of this particular kit , next on the block will be a street gasser version .
