am73grand Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 This was a restoration project. I have to thank Modelhaus for having all the parts I needed to finish this one up. This is what I started with: This is what I ended up with. Paint is Testors "Wimbeldon White" Wheels are from an AMT Grand Prix and the wide whites are from the Round 2 tire pack. This is a curbside until I can track down some missing engine parts. Thanks for looking!
satterwhite78 Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 You don't need to do another thing.....It's perfect!
Speedfreak Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Awsome! Love the Wimbeldon White, it works really well with this car and the interior, great save.
Sixties Sam Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Really great save of an old model! Nice work! The white looks good! Sam
TooOld Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Great restoration Rod ! I love those old Pontiacs and you did this one right . I just got a couple of those Parts Pak tires from another forum member and they are really nice !

am73grand Posted January 14, 2014 Author Posted January 14, 2014 Did a great job on this What engine parts do you need? Thanks everyone for the compliments this was a fun project.....sometimes there's nothing like building a kit box stock. I need the stock exhaust manifolds and if the kit had them radiator hoses.......
Greg Cullinan Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Looks awesome and clean. I have nothing against it before though.
charlie8575 Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 What a beautiful job on that, Ron! I have another '63 I was able to pick up at LIARS for a very reasonable price. I hope you bring that to the show. I can say that even if shown as a curbside, it'll be a hit. Charlie Larkin
bbowser Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 I love it! Learned to drive in a '64 so I have a soft spot for the big Ponchos. Excellent model.
