Danno Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 That's why it's called CNN. Crazy News Network.
Thatswhatshesaid Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Pond Chickens? Seaslugs? Seattle still gets no respect. It was a whoopin' all around. Peyton played like he was trying to get cut from the JV squad.
Pete J. Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Yea, Seaslugs. I lived in Spokane in the 70's and 80's and it took a lot of disappointment for them to earn that lack of respect. One season does not erase years of nonperformance. I have the same issues with the Chargers. They have had great talent go to waste with poor coaching, ownership and infighting. Respect is earned by a history of performance, not a single season.
Skip Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Having been a Seattle Seahawks fan since year one, I'd have to partially agree with Pete, we have had more than our share of inept coaching and moronic owners. Even though Seattle won, it was difficult to even watch! I actually felt sorry for Payton Manning, to have fought your way through the season to get to the Superbowl then have your butt handed to you like that had to have been one of the most difficult games in his career. Finally glad to see these kind of results from a team I've watched for so long. Have to wonder if the talking morons are right about Seattle being the next powerhouse dynasty? They point out that there is that one team every decade that it just might be the Seahawks decade.
Quick GMC Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 On CNN they said it was one of the best ever halftime shows. I didn't get what little of it I saw. There was no instruments plugged. Now they say some was prerecorded... The singing was live, the instruments from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers were pre recorded for that show. They released a statement explaining why. Whether or not you like the music, the singing on both parts was great. I'm not a fan of Bruno Mars' music, but he is an extremely talented singer.
martinfan5 Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 I am happy the Broncos got their rear ends handed to them, gives me a very warm and fuzzy feeling inside

ScaleDale Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Dudes, the game is over. Time to rub up some baseballs. Dale
martinfan5 Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Dudes, the game is over. Time to rub up some baseballs. Dale Um, ewww
Thatswhatshesaid Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Dudes, the game is over. Time to rub up some baseballs. Dale Exactly. Time for baseball and Peyton can focus on his Papa John commercials. Time to promote the new Tear Lovers pizza.
Harry P. Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 Dudes, the game is over. Time to rub up some baseballs. Dale Spring training is right around the corner.
Thatswhatshesaid Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Spring training is right around the corner. Actually Spring Training started Friday. The Boston title defense has officially started.
Rob Hall Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 (edited) Oh well, football season is over..looking forward to the NASCAR, Indy Car, and F1 seasons which are starting soon. Edited February 10, 2014 by Rob Hall
Thatswhatshesaid Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Oh well, football season is over..looking forward to the NASCAR, Indy Car, and F1 seasons which are starting soon. NASCAR should be extra boring this year.
Harry P. Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 Actually Spring Training started Friday. The Boston title defense has officially started. Only for pitchers/catchers. The "real" spring training with all players hasn't started yet.
Thatswhatshesaid Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Only for pitchers/catchers. The "real" spring training with all players hasn't started yet. It still counts. As long as there are guys on the field its spring training time.
DPNM Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 I'm glad I'm not a wagering person as I thought that the Bronco's would win. Had I bet I would have lost my ..............shirt. They didn't even show up which is the disappointing part. What's this about baseball? This is HOCKEY season!!! The US team is doing really well in the Olympics, they have a good chance to medal. Then it will be back to the regular season and the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the toughest trophy to win in sports.
oldnslow Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 If the race they just had was any indication, they're going to be rebuilding a lot of cars this year.
High octane Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Seems like some teams are in "spring training" all year long. That's why I haven't watched baseball for the last two years, and I think I'll include this year and make it three.
