sjordan2 Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Just introduced at the Geneva Motor Show. Styling influences from the original TR. This should provide good reference for Ferrari builders if and when a kit comes out.http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/cg/5801/Ferrari-California-T.html
sjordan2 Posted February 14, 2014 Author Posted February 14, 2014 I'll never buy one. Yeah, I expect mixed reactions to the styling.
bbowser Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 It's not a bad looking car, but it doesn't reach out and grab you like a Ferrari should. It suffers from the same malady as all cars these days, they all look alike!
Pete J. Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 I will never understand why they put rear seats in these things! Just put a parcel shelf in with some tie downs and be done with it. You will never take more than two people anywhere in this vehicle. Don't waste your time upholstering the seats. Dumb!
Matt Bacon Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 I'm definitely not sure why you'd have one when you could have a matched pair of "his" n "hers" Jaguar F-Type V8S convertibles for about the same price...;-P bestest, M.

sjordan2 Posted February 14, 2014 Author Posted February 14, 2014 Def' agree with Matt... Or an Aston ;-)CliffoEven Aston convertible and coupe variations offer a choice between rear seats or not.
Pete J. Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 There is just something about a Ferrari that and Aston or Jag just doesn't have. To be honest about it, if you could afford one of these, money isn't the issue. If it is, you shouldn't be buying one of these to begin with. If I had the money, I'd have the Ferrari but my preference runs to the 458 Italia coupe. No convertibles for me! Just not a fan of the extra weight and loss of rigidity you get when the top is taken off.
Jeff Johnston Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 I love it. My only issue with this and all other late model Ferrari's is the lack of a real manual transmission. I want to shift....the old fashioned way.
martinfan5 Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 I love it. My only issue with this and all other late model Ferrari's is the lack of a real manual transmission. I want to shift....the old fashioned way. Agreed
Matt Bacon Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 A prancing horse or a leaping cat? I'm just glad that's it's a real choice again, which it hasn't really been since 1968... bestest, M.
Scuderia Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Too many styling cues from other Ferrari's of the last few years for my taste. No big SPLASH factor, but I'd build one if given a chance lol..
CJ1971 Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Too many styling cues from other Ferrari's of the last few years for my taste. No big SPLASH factor, but I'd build one if given a chance lol.. Ditto ;-) ... No doubt Fujimi or Revell AG will have this tagged & bagged within the next 6mnths :-)
Exotics_Builder Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Ditto ;-) ... No doubt Fujimi or Revell AG will have this tagged & bagged within the next 6mnths :-) As Fujimi never did a California, our most likely hope is RoG.
DrKerry Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 I'm in LLLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV!!!!!! I'd buy one!!!!
CJ1971 Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 As Fujimi never did a California, our most likely hope is RoG. True... But they do have a deal with Ferrari & it's not impossible for them to do this new T ;-)
