Speedpro Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Here's a few pics of a 1936 ford 5-window coupe hot rod. Features wide's in the back and skinnies up front with pro stars. The 421 Pontiac was used and a blower was added along with some plug wires. The body received frenched taillights and a custom hood. Thanks for checking it out.
TooOld Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Beautiful ! Great looking paint and detailing . Did you add the filters inside the scoop or were they in the kit ?
Chris White Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 I am amazed, you stuffed everything in there. Beautiful Job!!

rmvw guy Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Very nice! My neighbor has one like this, very similar, about the same color. No blower on his though probably SBC. Nice Job.
Ace-Garageguy Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 (edited) Nice build, and a MUCH better job of dealing with the joint between the separate roof molding and the body than these kits usually get. Very nice. Edited February 16, 2014 by Ace-Garageguy
Speedpro Posted February 16, 2014 Author Posted February 16, 2014 Thanks everyone for the comments! To answer your ? TooOld about the air cleaners, They are part of the scoop. The blower and scoop are from the monogram '70 chevelle Paul
John Goschke Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 (edited) Excellent build! Good job getting that top grafted on! Edited February 16, 2014 by John Goschke
Shardik Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 The more I look at it the more I like it. To start with, the '36 is my favorite pre-war Ford, and what you've done with it just makes it even better. I really like the rich paint color set off by the tan interior; very classy. I also like the way you tubbed it; a far simpler solution than I came up with for my '39 Chevy. Simple is good, especially when it's done this cleanly. By the way, what did you paint the body with?
