Terminator-Fox Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Wow that looks fantastic! What did you use for the radiator hose clamp?
Belugawrx Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Very very nice clean build Wow Looks like you could just open those doors and hop in!!
rmvw guy Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 (edited) That turned out terrific, I knew it would when I saw it in the workbench section. The little knobs on the dash convinced me. It reminds me so much of my High School ride. The details are fantastic. Love the small block. Can you tell me where you got the correct badges? Maybe I will look back at the workbench section for it once more. Nice work Jeff, you got it right! I looked in the workbench section and found no new posts so, if you can answer, how did you do the side badges please? Also the rear looks amazing! Edited February 16, 2014 by rmvw guy
realgone58 Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Wow, what a beautiful build! It looks real. Can't get over how real the Cragars look on it too!
horsepower Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 (edited) You really nailed the"look"on this one, I spent many an hour behind the wheel of '64 Malibu (almost exactly identical except for the minor body changes) and I feel right at home with this build, the interior is even the right shade of blue, and the addition of the white was a nice touch. Old Nasty Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Well done. Is that a Wisconsin plate I see?
slusher Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Super sharp build. love the interior detail..
Speedpro Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 This is one very clean build! I really like the interior colors and details. The paint is smooth too!
sak Posted February 17, 2014 Author Posted February 17, 2014 Wow that looks fantastic! What did you use for the radiator hose clamp? I use 30 gage "wire wrapping wire" for my sparkplug wires. Then metal wire inside that is what I use for those clamps. And thanks for the kind words.
the goon Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 That's a real beauty. A friend of mine had a 1:1 very close to your model. Mark
