I have no idea what year this little guy is. I like the kit but the tires were too small, so I tubbed it and used a set of Pegasus wheels/tires. Paint is HOK lime gold kandy over a pavo purple base. I used the Rustoleum texture paint on the chassis and inside the trunk. There's Fatkidd style distributor and fuel filter.

Thank you Rich. I went to ebay looking for another kit and guess what? These Ramblers are going for $40 to $80. Maybe I should have sold the kit instead of building it - NOT.

Sometimes you can pick up a promo model off of eBay at a reasonable price. That's what I did for the model Ramfins built for me. On all the Rambler American kits and promo models I've seen from Jo-Han they based them all on the convertible which makes the rear seat area on the hardtops WRONG.

I believe it's a 1966. Johan didn't update the body when doing the SC/Rambler kit.

I believe Tom is correct, technically the SC/Hurst versions were 68's & 69's. Either way they are cool little cars. I picked up one at a swap meet for 30 and a set of Fred Cady decals to build mine.
