kjc99 Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 built this pretty much box stock with some weathering. It's got some rust holes and a different colored hood and tailgate. I scratch built the salt spreader and added the lightbar, a stock air cleaner and a gas can from my parts box. Overall very happy with this one.
Steve Prideaux Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Wow ! Great build ! I think that truck plowed my driveway when I lived in Illinios. Nice job !!
tooltas Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 it does look like a maine plow truck ''WILL USED AND PUT AWAY WET'' truck that im used to see went growing up in bangor me.

cobraman Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Nice work ! It would look great in a diorama pushing a pile of snow. : )
Teddy J. Tannehill Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Kyle I like your old truck...Living in the Mid West we see a lot of these...Your Yellow equipment and "Rugged Look" you added to them is really well done...Funny thing about these Old Trucks the body could be really rusted out....I had one from the 70s you. could see the ground through the floor.....But the motor ran great. Got it from a farmer for a $100 bucks...Used it for a "Wood Hauler" and a "Spoting Truck" for canoe trips...The paper work stated that it was a 74 but Old Farmer Milton said "It was a Mish'Mash of a few trucks to make that one." Almost as an after thought he said "The heater works." Thanks for sharing this one.
kjc99 Posted March 12, 2014 Author Posted March 12, 2014 Thanks again for the good reviews guys, I know what you mean Teddy, I had an old F150 with rust holes big enough to fit my head through. Gotta love these old trucks and their "Character"
tbill Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 minus plow and salter, it looks like my sons wreck of a truck in my driveway nice job, it looks awesome [unlike the one in my driveway....]
Bige37 Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Where did you get the salter or is it scratch built?
gatorincebu Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Dat is just plain cool! You really nailed the well worn and rusted out look. Be Well Gator
Atmobil Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Very nice build, would look great with some snowy pictures of it
