peter31a Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Yeah, I was thinking it was some type of baby poop brown Alpha...
Matt Bacon Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 It was pretty controversial styling in its day (there were Austin and Morris versions as well, before all the different names and badges were replace by "Princess" in 1976) -- even a ten year old noticed the fuss! Interestingly, but maybe not surprisingly, there are only two of these registered in Britain today, whereas there are about 90 of the car it "replaced", the Wolseley Six... bestest, M.
dimaxion Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 I knew the era only . A secrete I shared with Harry . I hope he does not change colors on future "Whazza Dis ?" I'm getting closer ... Thanx ..
Lovefordgalaxie Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 I thought it was the Austin 1800 version. have a magazine with a comparo between it and the Alfasud. Sent the PM to Harry and he told "no it is not a Morris" Started looking for pictures of the Morris online, and found the Wolseley. They are about 90% similar from the outside. One has to pay attention to pick them apart.
otherunicorn Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Amusingly I eventually found it while looking for hatchbacks, which it isn't. I found a site that was discussing cars that looked like, but were not hatchbacks, and that put me onto the Princess.
