This Ranchero started out as the lastest issue. I painted it Tamiya Grey Green with Testeor Wet Look Clear. A light coat of Tamiya Clear Blue on the windows. The only option on this truck were white walls. The pre-printed tires are a nice touch, but when fitted on the steel wheels, which look too large, the white walls almost vanished. I filed the lip off the edge of the wheels and it makes a big difference. Nice kit and fits in perfectly with my early 60's replica stocks.

Thank you for looking.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I really enjoyed building this one. If Harry should read this, interior and exterior mirrors were options along with sunvisiors, heater, seatbelts, radio and all window trim with the exception of the chrome windshield frame, door handles and emblems.

Nice! I did the same thing with the wheels on the two I've built. How did you deal with the too-short mounting bosses on the wheels?

Thanks Charlie, Sam and Chuck. Chuck, Since all my builds are curbside I centered the wheels and tires on the chassis and instant glued in place.
