Here's another old Johan Mopar kit that's been restored. This one is a 1960 Dodge Dart Phoenix hard top. Another one that's getting exceedingly hard to find. A lot of intricate paint work on the interior in this one to try to replicate the wild upholstery patterns these early Dodges had. Other wise, the only deviation from bone stock was a set of Pegasus Dodge four bar spinner hub caps. This one's painted factory correct MCW "Twilight Blue Metallic".

Oooo , I like this one !

Beautiful job on a car that brings back lots of memories for me , we had a brand new Phoenix convertible when I was 5 years old !

Not too much Chris. It was brush painted copper & had a few "glue melt" issues but other than that, it was in tact. It was missing one stock hub cap, which was part of the reason why I decided to go with the Pegasus wheels. Oher wise, it has new glass & the chrome has been re-done.

Yer killin' me bro!!!! Another gorgeous Forward Look ('55-61) Mopar! Beautifully done. These are my absolute favorite cars! I've got one of these I need to do some work on. Finishing up my '60 Plymouth wagon now. Keep 'em coming!

Thanks everybody! Michael, I took some interior pics before final assembly but unfortunately, they're over the 2MB limit. If I post them, I'll have to re-size them first. Thanks Alan! These old Mopars are my weakness as well. I have a few more finished that I'll post in the coming days & at least a few more to build. I have a '59 Imperial, '60 Desoto & a '60 Plymouth Fury that are finished, & still have a '59 Plymouth Fury, '60 Imperial & a '60 Chrysler New Yorker left to build. Along with a few "post" '61 Chrysler 300s. '62, '63, '66, '67 & '68. Needless to say, I'll be busy for a while. :)

Stunning!!! The whole model is wonderful but that interior is mind blowing. Is there some trick there or are you simply the best paint detailer since Michelangelo?
