Tompidom Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 The Porsche is on the back burner for now, it needs a lot of patiance with all those Carbon decals. I'll pick that one up in between building other stuff. I orderd this kit last year and it finaly arrieved a month back, but if just kept calling me out so.......... I took it out and started building it. I do not have any in box pictures but id did make a video All parts were preped for paint and got a color assigned to them.
Tompidom Posted April 22, 2014 Author Posted April 22, 2014 Alles is in de primer gezet en vervolgens gespoten I thought the interior would look good in a 2 tone so i give it one  And finaly the body, I painted it in this beautiful metellic blue I let the paint dry up for a bit and added the BMF and Decals.
Tompidom Posted April 22, 2014 Author Posted April 22, 2014 And last but not least it got some clear. And as usual i got that on tape It micht be a bit long, But i hope you like it.

oldscool Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 That's some of the best flocking work I have ever seen. Even coverage and not too thick. Everything looks good on this one.
Tompidom Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 Thanks!! The interior got some more attention
BIG NICKY Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 WOW!!! that interior is awesome and the body looks great. and that engine and engine bay look great as well. just WOW!!!
Monty Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Tom, you're doing some spectacular work on this kit, but the raised lettering behind the gas tank (and possibly out in front of it) need to be sanded off so they don't detract from all the effort you've put into this.
BIG NICKY Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 what materials are you using for the belts and buckles
mrm Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Extremely nice clean build. I can definitely second the opinion about this being the best flocking job I have seen.

I do agree with you on this. But to be honost i forgot. And I got luckey. With the body on the chassis you can't even see it. what materials are you using for the belts and buckles This is the meterial used for the belts http://www.hiroboy.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=5092 The buckles are scratch built from styreen sheet
Tompidom Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 The engine bay needed som attention aswell Placed all the windows Also did the tail lights The interior was already done so that could be glued in the body
Tompidom Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 The chassis was the next in line And finaly the wheels were put on
