Robberbaron Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Perfect! This is how I like to see these cars customized: the styling was so great from the factory, no radical body mods are necessary. Your clean building style is icing on the cake.
mrm Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I absolutely love this model. Amazing paintjob and it just projects certain attitude.
ChrisBcritter Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 (edited) Even better in the sunlight - brings out all the subtle shadings and makes the chrome really stand out. I've really got to dig up a '59 one of these days. Edited April 28, 2014 by ChrisBcritter
rustybill1960 Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 One Absolutely Beautiful Buick James! Love that shadowing You did Thank You for sharing Later Russ
geetee66 Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Wow! You made a silk purse from a sow's ear! I love the paint, stance, wheel choice and finish. Now, if I could only get hold of one of these. Just seen one on eBay. $250.00 Stroll on!
paul44224 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Saw this in person a couple of days ago! Really awesome build! Also, nice to meet you, James! Paul
DeeCee Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 That is just GORGEOUS!! Nice work on the fade away up the centre too.
James2 Posted May 3, 2014 Author Posted May 3, 2014 nice to meet you, James! Paul Thanks Paul, pleasure meeting you and Mike as well. Hope you can make back again. (They can be a lively bunch!)
Grumpa Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 "Pretty happy..." Really.....are you kidding? This is one of....if not the nicest '59 Buick Invicta's I have ever seen. Great save on one of the classic car kits. The fade on the roof, and what looks to be on the lower portion of the body is beautiful, and the foil work is flawless. And how can you possibly go wrong with "Cragers" and wide-whites. Awesome build!
James2 Posted May 10, 2014 Author Posted May 10, 2014 Thank you again. Well Mark, when you work on something your self you are the only one who knows where the flaws are. And I am my own worst critic!
Nacho Z Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 The first two words that came to mind: Sweet and clean. That is one sweet build and it is oh, so clean!
ChevyCoupe41 Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 One of the coolest Buicks what I've ever seen! That paint job is perfect!
