cobraman Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 This "thing" was just cobbled together with no real plan and it shows. It was meant just to be a between projects project. The body is a JF resin item that is supposed to be a shortened, narrow Lincoln body of a 63 (?) vintage. It was combined with a Beatnik Bandit kit. The Bandit kit supplied the frame which was modified and also the engine and the bubble top. The grill is a cut down 49 Merc item the dash from the parts box as were other bits. Painted bright yellow and parts box decals.
Porscheman Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 (edited) I guess the sixties wasn't only good to me. Excellent build on a very bizare Lincoln. Edited May 26, 2014 by Porscheman
cobraman Posted May 26, 2014 Author Posted May 26, 2014 Well, now... that's.. um.... different. That was the idea Harry. What you rather see ? Another boring Willy's or Charger ? Wait ! Don't answer that, I already know. I think your slipping however as there was no mention of the lack of mirrors ! : ) Now fellows that was a joke. I like Willy's and Chargers as much as anyone. No hate mail please !
TooOld Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Well call me " Weird " 'cause I like it ! With a little surgery and some TLC it would make a cool little show rod !
Jon Haigwood Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 I like it I thought Ed Roth when I first saw it (thats a good thing)
cobraman Posted May 27, 2014 Author Posted May 27, 2014 Thanks Ira. I know this "thing" is strange but that is what I was going for.
REDNECK7109 Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 That's definitely an odd little bugger but if it was a kit I'd buy it!!! Call me weird to baby!!! Lol good job dude!
