Starliner Kustoms Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Just finished this build last week for a friend of mine. It is base on a real car that they love. I used the 66 Malibu from Lindberg and added a few features to make it as close as possible to it's 1:1 model. One of which was adding the 3" cowl inducted hood scoop over the stock ports as well as removing all scripts to make way for the P.E. Replacements. The wheels are from Fujimi with parts box disc brakes. Paint is Krylon Maroon Fusion polished out. Overall this was a nice kit to build. I have plans on doing one for myself someday.
mikemodeler Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Love it! Nice color and well detailed, have several of those kits to build myself, gotta get them on my to do list!

#1Volsfan Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Man that is Sweet! Makes me want to get mine out and finish it. Again just an excellent build and great photography. Looks like the real deal.
ChrisR Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Very nice! Personally I would have gone for a different set of wheels.
DeeCee Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 A pic of the model would be a good thing too. Great work on the build and photography, PERFECT!!
am73grand Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Fantastic build!!! Those wheels look perfect on it. Nice job!
GLMFAA1 Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 (edited) What a nice job on the model, Nothing like having your mom get a new 66 Chevelle 283 automatic when you turn 16 and take your driving test in it. PS My brother still has it Edited June 22, 2014 by GLMFAA1
Harry P. Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 And it has mirrors, just like a real car! Nice job.
