Being an avid car guy and mustang owner I am pleased to show you guys the latest one. I made a very special 16 hour round trip with my dad and my daughter to pick this up yesterday. My oldest child, my daughter Tylar who is 15 and will be 16 on June 26 has been working like a dog for this day. She bought and paid for her own mustang! We looked at dozens and she chose this one. This makes 9 in the stable and even though it's not the biggest baddest or rarest in the stable it's special because it's hers. She found it, talked to the seller, did everything with a little help from me. I am very proudpost-8987-0-87270900-1402636786_thumb.jp it's a 94 GT. 5.0 automatic. It has about 80k on the clock. Runs great. We are going to do a few little things to it together. Now she has to get her licence! Test is booked for day after her birthday and I'm sure she will nail it. Now I worry because her brothers are ultra jealous so I can see mustangs 10-11 coming pretty soon...

Cool story....great example of why Mustang is a cultural phenomenon...everybody (it seems) has a connection to it somehow. Congrats to you and your daughter....TIM

Very NICE, sounds like you have a very sharp daughter Fred, not many 15 yr olds are savvy enough to do what she did, CONGRATS Tylar enjoy your new ride!! ;) :)

Cool ride. I had one just like it 14 years ago. Same year, wheels and color. I hope it serves her as well as mine served me. I should have kept it. I've had 3 Stangs in my life so far and my 94 was my favorite. Be sure and tell her she needs to keep it waxed. I don't know if it was the Texas sun or the color but the finish on mine faded quickly.

Can't go wrong w/ a 5.0 SN95 car. Freaking love mine to this day. Had it 8 years and it has 240,000 miles. Looks like it has the "performance package" like mine as well... factory 17's, and it probably has a strut tower brace.

Tylar worked hard for that car, awesome first car. Enjoy it safely in health and happiness.

You did great job on that great young adult. Happy father's day, you earned it.

Mustangs forever. :)

Thanks guys. I have been messing around with it the last couple days. Replaced a couple fuses and got everything working properly. The dreaded power seat quitting issue and I had to reset the airbag light which is also a common thing. I bought a yellow 95 gt brand new so it was a familiar car. I still have 1 sn95 car (my cobra) but now my newer stuff is all s197 based with my Shelby's

Very cool that you and your daughter got this car. It's always fun seeing kid that age enthused about cars. Or any other hobby they can share with a parent. I hope both of you get many good years and memories with this car.

That is awesome. She'll love it !

My son wanted (wants) a Mustang but he could not find a suitable/affordable 5.0 car that wasn't a mess. Here in the northeast they rust.... Now he is in college, so no Mustang for him. He bought a nice Saab but he still pines for the Mustang. I let him drive mine quite a bit though.

9 mustangs eh ? I used to have 2 but only one now :) Dang I am jealous LOL
