cam Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 It has been a long time since I posted on here, but I thought I would share my latest build, even though it has been finished since last fall. This is my version of combinging a lonestar tractor and the wrecker body from a can-do kit.
cam Posted June 30, 2014 Author Posted June 30, 2014 here is some more pics, I had to watch a vidio to learn how to post again.
rctruk Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 (edited) Great looking tow truck. Any towing company would be proud to call it theirs. Did you have to reinforce the frame. I built the can do truck box stock and I have to lift it carefully because the frame sags Just saw your second set of pics.....noticed the bracing underneath.....cool idea Edited June 30, 2014 by rctruk

BigBad Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 This wrecker body looks like a natural for the Lonestar. This is not the first one I see and surely not the last either! Nice job of this particular one, nice paint job and integration of the whole truck altogether. Good job!
Guest Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 (edited) I always thought this was the best Lonestar build posted on any forum. Edited August 26, 2014 by Modeltruckbuilder
