janositamas Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Hi Guys, just finished my next one, it's cabrio time - so this time I went for the topless look. Unfortunately the weather changed his mind so I barely see sunlight during taking pics. I was unlucky with the kit anyway, so what else did I expect? I somehow lost the "chrome" parts tree including the rims and the side view mirror inlets, and broke the windshield frame twice before painting and once more after. I used the 599 GTB rims with some very low profile tires to give it a modern look, and replaced the crappy stock exhaust tips with some leftover metal ones, I guess from some Revell Mustang GT leftovers. I used meshes also, but the whole kit is very basic both interior and exterior, so I didn't bother with more detail. I painted it Mazda Velocity Red Mica automotive paint, interior is black / tan. Here are the pics: On my way back home there were a little sunshine so I tried to catch the mica effect with not much success: http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z93/janositamas/DSC00750-3_zps68435ce3.jpg Thanks for watching!

NYNS Franky Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Wow, that looks great! The first 2 pics look real. The rims are a home run and look like they were made for this kit!
