Didn't get a picture but saw a metallic green Myers Manx dune buggy with large diameter wheels and spinner hub caps, a mix of 60's and ghetto ride

Well, you would be surprised, I guess.

This is a 2 CV Charleston and many of them had this color scheme from the factory... Other colors where two tone grey or yellow and black...

However..... I don't think many of these came with a huge 5th wheeler installed at the front bumper...

I would have supposed the big surprise would be seeing a Citroën 2cv going 70mph.

One time we were on the turnpike and came up on a big motorhome with a small car in tow.  My wife remarked," "that guy is following awful close!"

Mercury Grand Marquis. I believe this is a '75. On I-40E near Watkins, Memphis.

Could be a '75, '76, '77, or '78. Not a lot of changes over those 4 years looks wise. The body side molding, without read the nameplate, tell you it's a Grand Marquis. The plain Marquis, and Marquis Brougham had different side trim.

good point!

that would be about top speed... Only possible when slipstreaming...

Another reason why I would have it on a trailer.  I wouldn't want to tax the ancient suspension traveling for hours faster than it was intended for!

Today on the New Jersey Turnpike...  I thought this was an interesting rig.  Three levels of towing!

I was down in San Diego again and saw a couple of things I did not expect to see. No pics as I was driving . First was a brand new Ford Ranger. Not out yet as far as I know so maybe a test vehicle ? It was a bright red. Very nice looking truck and seemed much larger than the Rangers that we knew. Second was a strange looking small gray car that turned out to be a Renault something. Are they selling in the US again ?

I went to town today to pickup the mail and stop in at the hardware store for somethings. On the way home I saw this '39 Chevy infront of the Auto Parts Store. 100% Custom Interior and the guy said it had a Chevy 350/350 Combo for motivation. Really nice clean car. And the Grey over Yellow Paint was REALLY hard to miss!

I suspect that both of those vehicles had Mexican license plates.

Possible. The Ranger I know did not have plates. The car, I did not notice.

You may have seen a Renault Clio. They sell them there. Mexico gets a lot of cool stuff that we don't.

This was parked outside the house the other day.

At the AACA musuem in Hersey PA last week, the stunt car Herbie used in movies one and two.

This one was at the museum also. I think the officer who screwed up the most for the week must have driven this one as punishment.
