ksnow Posted October 12, 2020 Posted October 12, 2020 It was pretty low in front, slight rake on the rear. Exhaust note definitely matched the stance.

Pete J. Posted October 13, 2020 Posted October 13, 2020 Well, technically I was on the road and I did see this. Wife and some of her friends decided to take a balloon ride in SoCal Wine country. Great scenery to look at. I also caught a nice shot of a balloon and the moon!
NYLIBUD Posted October 14, 2020 Posted October 14, 2020 Funny,an elderly couple were driving this CV police car.Probably started life as a Sheriffs car.But it was pretty beat up though.
Tom Geiger Posted October 14, 2020 Posted October 14, 2020 That CV reminds me of a story. Back when I still lived in NJ I passed a place every day.. an old body shop that no longer had signs and was doing private duty... a bunch of beat up black and whites in one lot, and a bunch of shiny yellow cabs on the other side! I always thought that would have been a good diorama
Danno Posted October 14, 2020 Posted October 14, 2020 (edited) These have gotten REAL popular all over the country lately . . . I don't know who started it, but . . . very cool. Delivers quite the message. Your choice: call a cab or call a bail bondsman. ? Edited October 14, 2020 by Danno

I would either paint the black parts white, or the white parts black. Or just paint the whole thing some other color. This also looks like it may have been a city PD car since they seem to get the most abuse around here anyway.

Actually it looks like an LA car..This is my 09 CV.Theres just something about police cars that I’ve always liked since I’m a kid.I’ve owned a bunch in the past. This is a great car,low miles and low idle hours. It was a PA detectives car.Flow masters and a bunch of other add on’s.Fast car,and rides like a Caddy. All the lights and siren are still in the car, they’re just disconnected. And a 1970 NYPD car(not mine, but I did offer the guy to buy it,but he said,no way, lol)
The Junkman Posted October 14, 2020 Posted October 14, 2020 (edited) You're not fooling anybody. You like it for the way people look up, see that CV maw in their mirrors and move out of the way for you. ? Edited October 14, 2020 by The Junkman

Nope, just always liked police cars.Lol.I don’t really drive it much.I really wanted a Marauder, but couldn’t really find a decent one in my price range,so I went with the CV,and blacked out the whole car.My daily driver is a 2000 Jeep Cherokee. Also a great truck. Spotted from the side of the road today, next to the grocery store: Couldn’t get a better photo without trespassing - I’ll save that for another day ??
iamsuperdan Posted October 15, 2020 Posted October 15, 2020 At some point I'm going to stop and get a better look at this thing. Appears to be a 1981 Cordoba. Minty goodness. Body is perfect. I've seen him driving, and it sounds healthy too.

Wow to see one nice is something. I worked for a Chrysler store then and I think it was originally supposed to be a Chrysler 300. Like they did in 79 but decided to go away from any performance roots if I remember correct. I think 80? You can see the red white and blue emblems like they had on the 300's. Tom Geiger Posted October 15, 2020 Posted October 15, 2020 Same car! This one has been around the New York area car shows for a long time. These pix are from the Staten Island AACA show in 2003!
NYLIBUD Posted October 15, 2020 Posted October 15, 2020 Yup your right,he shows the car all over.Hes retired NYPD.Heck of a nice guy,and wife.I believe he added the top highway light bar,but he also removes it sometimes for shows.
NYLIBUD Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 Thursday’s local cruise night.Probably two more weeks before it wraps up.Some real nice cars, like that new Ford GT.

Wouldn't happen to have any pics of the 66 Cyclone in the background here would you? From that brief glimpse, it looks like my dad's old car.
