Danno Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Another home run ! Is the white valve covers and air cleaner period correct ? Yes, factory correct, Ray! Beautiful model!
Lovefordgalaxie Posted July 12, 2014 Author Posted July 12, 2014 First of all, Thank You very much my friends!!! Always love to read your feedback!!! Yes, factory correct, Ray! Beautiful model! The Edsel had some pretty wild engine colors. The white valve covers and air cleaner are stock as is the greenish yellow engine block. This is the E-400 engine, the "base" Edsel V8, that was an early FE V8. The "top" Edsel engine, the E-475 was painted green, a almost fluorescent green... With white valve covers and air cleaner!! I would had bought an Edsel for sure back in the day. Gorgeous cars. Today, they are out of my price range.
superbike-shaun Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Tulio, I Think this one is more awesome than the 64 #5 they build them edsels like I would have liked!!!! wild colors every where!!!!! Shaun.s
72 Charger Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 I can only agree with everyone else great job there Tulio. I would love to get one for my own shelf and only dream of owning a real one
The Modeling Hermit Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 I really like your attention to detail, especially around the often forgotten door lines.
ChrisBcritter Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 (edited) Tulio, you really should be building and photographing box art cars for the big model companies - they're all beautiful. Edited July 13, 2014 by ChrisBcritter
Guest Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Beautiful! But I finally found a flaw in one of your builds! You forgot to sand the parting line on the brake master cylinder! Just awesome work sir!
charlie8575 Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 Another re-run? No biggie, I like this show. Charlie Larkin
