Antikainen Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Hi there! This one is lowered, sliced 3mm from side rocker panels, bellflower pipes, pegasus tyres, johan ´66 Caddy hubcaps, acetate windows, PE- scripts and some other changes. Paint: Tamiya spray TS-68 ( wooden deck tan ) + pearl clear sprayed from greater distange to achieve satin finish. On with the pics:
Antikainen Posted July 20, 2014 Author Posted July 20, 2014 More pics: Thank you for watching, as always, questions and comments are welcomed.
Mike 1017 Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Nice work. Very unique choice of color. I like it
TooOld Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Wow , that's pretty cool looking with the satin finish , but I think it needs to be a little bit lower !
72 Charger Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Thats very cool I like the blue screen . How did you do that?
Maxicoop Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 don't go down any streets with speed bumps.......hahahaha that is what I call a LOW low rider ..........great job !!!!!! being that low it makes the car look twice as long !!!
wayne swayze Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Wow! Now that's LOW!! I'm also diggin' the twin chrome strips and twin aerials. Sort of keeps the theme. Nice foil work also!
Antikainen Posted July 20, 2014 Author Posted July 20, 2014 Thats very cool I like the blue screen . How did you do that? Thank you all! Blue screen is made by adding blue tinted acetate sheet over clear acetate windshield. That blue tinted one is made by a company called Raboesch I think. I ordered blue, red, smoke and yellow tinted sheets from U.K. few years back. Sorry but I cant´n remember name of that online shop..
1 bad55 stan Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Sweet!I thought my 66 caddy was low but narhh!
JustAnotherBuilder Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Oh yeah!!! I love me some old school caddies!!! Side note Midwest makes some nice clear blue/green/red/yellow/orange sheet plastic .005 for windows and things, its on the bay
misterNNL Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 (edited) I once heard a man say that too low is almost never quite low enough.Oh wait.....that was me I'm pretty sure. The ony way to make this one any lower is to dig a ditch for it to run in! Edited July 21, 2014 by misterNNL
PappyD340 Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 That one is in da weeds for sure and some unusual side pipes too but they fit the look!!
slusher Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Very nice but the pipes on the outside on the body does not look right..
Chris White Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 it would be perfect, if it was just a little bit lower :D
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Looks good... The bellflower exhaust makes the car look even more wicked... So those are the pegasus 5.20 whitewall tires? Any mods to the wheels to make them fit?
Antikainen Posted July 24, 2014 Author Posted July 24, 2014 Johan ´66 hubcaps fell quite easily in place into those wheels, they had right diameter. Careful placement while the whole thing was upside down and few drops of superglue did the trick.
