pturley84 Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 This is my build up of the Revell Mongoose 71 Duster Funny Car. This was my first time to build a funny car. All of the detail parts are from Pro Tech. I lowered the rear ride hight to make the stance of the car closer to the accurate hight. Paul
bob terry Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Nice build. Did you lower the stance by raising the rear axle or by some other means?
Harry P. Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 I like the detail on the chassis and engine. Nicely done... And welcome aboard the crazy train!
DynoMight Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Like Harry said, welcome aboard. Glad to see you are posting your previous projects on here.
pturley84 Posted July 23, 2014 Author Posted July 23, 2014 Nice build. Did you lower the stance by raising the rear axle or by some other means? Yes I lifted the rear axle by approximately 3-4 scale inches.
Dragline Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 First funny? Looks great and you detailed it in very fine fashion. Welcome aboard. Bob
AZ Boy Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Very nice build, Paul..! For a first-time funnycar build, I appreciate your attention to detail, especially regarding the engine. Fine work, Sir!
Daddyfink Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Very nice and clean. I like the body stance on it!
Pro Tech Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Great job Paul, guys you gotta check out Paul's YouTube channel, alot of great builds/tips. Hope to see more of your completed builds on the forum . Charlie Pro Tech
W-409 Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Nice work with the Funny Car! Nice, clean job building this kit overall, but my favorite part is the engine. It looks so good that I could swear it was an 1:1 scale piece. Great job with the paint and decals, too.
om617 Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Very nice,as people have pointed out,the chassis and engine looks fantastic.
